One of my biggest bucket-list items was to travel to Nepal and trek through the valleys surrounding Mount Everest. I had the opportunity to do so in 1991. I was inspired to visit this particular region of Nepal having read the book “EVEREST – THE WEST RIDGE” chronicling the first American Everest expedition in 1963. The following gallery is a selection of some of my photos from that trip. I used a Nikon-F film camera (before digital) with Kodachrome slide film. More recently I converted my film to digital files using a film scanner and processing in Photoshop.
